How your Orange Everyday can work as your international travel card

Your Visa Debit Card works worldwide the same way you’d use it in Australia, with payWave technology for secure, fast and easy payment wherever Visa is accepted. You can also enjoy $0 international transaction fees and withdraw cash from ATMs (international ATM operator fee applies) and, if you have met eligibility the previous month.

How an Orange Everyday as your international travel card works at home

Did you know you can get charged international transaction fees even if the retailer is Australian in some situations? Common services that can charge you an international transaction fee include Google Play and Spotify. Eligible customers can get this fee rebated with their Orange Everyday.

Earn up to 5.50% p.a. variable rate

0.55% p.a. standard variable rate and 4.95% p.a. additional variable rate for eligible customers on one Savings Maximiser up to $100,000 when you hold an Orange Everyday and each month meet the eligibility criteria below.

  1. 1. Deposit at least $1,000 from an external source to any personal ING account in their name (excluding Living Super and Orange One)
  2. 2. Make 5 or more settled (not pending) eligible ING card purchases
  3. 3. Grow their nominated Savings Maximiser balance (excluding interest earned for the current month).

When the criteria is met in a calendar month, the benefits and additional variable rate will apply in the next calendar month. Available on one account for balances up to $100,000.

How to use your Orange Everyday as your travel card

Before you post that departure gate selfie, it’s a good idea to let us know your travel plans. If you don’t give us a heads up, we may be more likely place a temporary block on your card if we detect any suspicious overseas transactions (we may still place blocks even if you let us know).

It’s as easy as logging into the ING App then choosing the three lines > Settings > Use card overseas and entering your dates and destinations.
