Our contributions splitting service commenced on 29 September 2006. The Superannuation Contributions Splitting Application forms for all products are available on the ‘Publications and forms’ page of our website. Please note that you have until 30 June 2007 to submit a contributions splitting application for contributions made between 1 January 2006 and 30 June 2006.

Choice of Superannuation Fund legislation has been introduced by the Federal Government to allow employees, with some exceptions, to choose their own super fund for their Superannuation Guarantee contributions – putting them in control of what could be their biggest source of retirement savings.

From 28 December 2002, amendments made to the Family Law Act 1975, the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Regulations 1994 and other relevant legislation have provided divorcing or separating couples with a way to directly split their superannuation interests.
